Worship
The life of the church is centered around Sunday morning worship at 10:30 a.m. Though there is a “traditional” order of worship it is relaxed and friendly. You’ll find lots you’ll recognize, but if you’ve never been to a Presbyterian church before you’ll feel like you’ve found a friendly place that feels like home. The songs, prayers and preaching offer inspiration and encouragement that will challenge and comfort you wherever you are in your spiritual journey. After worship stay for awhile and enjoy some great food and fellowship.
During the Christmas and Easter seasons there are other opportunities to worship together. Christmas Eve there is a candlelight service. The Lenten season begins with Ash Wednesday worship and the imposition of ashes. The Maundy Thursday in Holy Week we focus on the events of Holy Week that lead to the crucifixion. And on Easter we gather for a grand celebration of the resurrection, beginning with the Sonrise Service.
Whether you are new to the faith, exploring what it means to follow Jesus, or ready to make a commitment to become a disciple of our Lord, you will find a welcome in worship at Wintergarden.
